What is a decision
In a situation, where there are several options, to choose one option, with all consequences and responsibilities.
To make a decisions is an act of will-power.
Why it is so difficult to make decisions
We cannot foresee all the consequences that come with any decision we make. When facing this uncertainty, and because of being scared of making a wrong choice, very often we try to find arguments and to get the opinion of other people. As these arguments, as well as the opinions, can be very contradictory (especially with what we want), instead of making us clearer, they confuse our initial intention. So, the process of making a decision gets more complicated.
The result of a non-genuine decision
We start negotiating with what we initially wanted, and in case of making a decision, it isn’t any more the genuine product of our will. Then, it will be very difficult to put this decision into reality, because it is based on conditions that are alien to what we want (obligations, sense of guilt, calculation, servility, fear, insecurity, etc.).
The act of will-power
When we put our attention to our body, we know in a clear way what we want. We can decide not to listen to what we believe to know about the possible consequences of this decision, we can agree to be afraid and to let the fear flow, we can accept that the consequences of our decision may be painful.
All this will allow us to make a decision according to who we are, with conviction and confidence, without conditioning, being loyal to our heart. In consequence, we can put this decision into reality with all our determination and attention.
